NUTRITIONAL ADVICE according to TCM

Nutritional advice according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is based on a holistic view of the human being and uses the knowledge of yin and yang as well as the 5-element theory to promote individual health. At the beginning of the consultation, a detailed initial consultation takes place, during which your personal needs and any imbalances are identified through a detailed medical history, a nutritional protocol and a tongue diagnosis.

In TCM nutrition, particular attention is paid to the balance between yin and yang. Yin stands for cooling, nourishing and calming qualities, while yang is responsible for warming, stimulating and dynamic processes in the body. The aim is to restore the balance between these two forces through targeted nutrition.

In addition, the nutritional advice is based on the 5-element theory (wood, fire, earth, metal, water), which states that certain foods and herbs are assigned to the elements and have a targeted effect on organs and bodily functions. By selecting foods according to the 5-element theory, I support the harmonization of your inner energy and promote your physical and emotional well-being.

Based on these principles, I create individual nutritional recommendations based on regional and seasonal foods. The change in diet is gradual and I adapt the plan to your progress in regular feedback meetings. Suitable herbal blends round off the concept to optimally support the healing process.
