Recognizing & Preventing Burnout – Workshop: The Five Elements, Qigong, and TCM Nutrition

Where: Torhaus Aalen
Start: Saturday , July 11, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
A total of 1 appointment from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

What makes this workshop special?

Burnout rarely happens overnight. Long before we’re truly exhausted, our bodies send subtle signals—sleep problems, inner restlessness, cravings for sweets, chronic tension, or the feeling that we can no longer truly unwind. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), these signs are understood as imbalances in the Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water.

This workshop will give you, for the first time, a clear picture of where you currently stand energetically—and which simple methods can help you strengthen your balance. No medical jargon, no pressure—just practical tools for your everyday life.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is intended for people who:

  • feel constantly exhausted and don’t know where to start
  • want to recognize the first signs of burnout and take early action to prevent it
  • want to learn about nutrition based on TCM principles and apply them in your daily life
would like to try Qigong—no prior experience required, easy to get started, and effective right away
  • would like to learn specific acupressure points for self-care
  • want to treat themselves to a deep sense of relaxation that goes far beyond everyday life
  • want to understand how the body, mind, and nutrition are connected

Frequently Asked Questions About the Workshop

Do I need any prior knowledge of Qigong or TCM?

No—this workshop is specifically designed for beginners. All the exercises are simple, are demonstrated step by step, and can be done by anyone.

    Is this a medical service?

No. This workshop is a holistic educational and self-care program. It is not a substitute for medical or therapeutic treatment. If you have serious symptoms, I always recommend that you also consult a healthcare professional.

    What should I bring?

Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, a yoga mat or blanket for deep relaxation, and a notebook if you’d like. Everything else will be provided.

Can I book an individual consultation after that?

I’d be happy to. I offer TCM nutritional counseling and one-on-one Qigong coaching, even outside of the VHS. At the end of the workshop, I’ll briefly introduce my services—you’re welcome to schedule a free introductory consultation at any time.

    How many seats are there?

The number of participants is intentionally limited so that each person receives sufficient attention. Early registration is recommended.
